The Soundscape Finder is a short, interactive quiz designed to act as your personal sound sommelier. It asks a few simple questions to understand your current goal and mood, and then uses your answers to generate a personalized set of recommendations.

How It Works: A Journey of Choices

  1. What's your primary goal right now? You'll start by choosing your main objective: Relax, Focus, Sleep, Create, or Explore. This is the most important question, as it helps the Finder narrow down the categories of sound that will be most effective for you.

  2. What kind of vibe are you feeling? Next, you'll choose a general atmosphere: Natural, Urban, Cozy, Imaginative, or Minimalist. This helps define the character of the sound you're looking for.

  3. Let's be more specific. What setting? Based on your vibe, you'll get more specific options. If you chose 'Natural,' you might see 'Forest,' 'Water,' or 'Weather.' If you chose 'Imaginative,' you might see 'Fantasy' or 'Sci-Fi.'

  4. And what's the desired mood? Finally, you'll choose the energy level: Calm & Gentle, Dynamic & Epic, Dark & Mysterious, or Rhythmic & Steady.

Intelligent Recommendations

Behind the scenes, your answers are used to create a scoring profile. Each answer is associated with keywords and categories, which are weighted by importance. The Finder then scores every preset in our library against this profile.

For example, choosing 'Focus' + 'Urban' + 'Quiet' + 'Rhythmic' would give high scores to presets like 'Focus Cafe' and 'Library', which contain those elements.

The result is a beautiful collage of seven highly-relevant presets, complete with a scientific explanation of why those types of sounds are effective for your chosen goal. It's the perfect blend of user intuition and data-driven recommendation.
