Isochronic Tones
Experience brainwave entrainment with rhythmic pulses of sound—no headphones required.
No Headphones Needed
Unlike binaural beats, isochronic tones work by emitting a clear pulse of sound, making them effective through speakers.
Isochronic Tone Generator
Select a brainwave type to generate a rhythmic pulse.
An isochronic tone is a single tone that is turned on and off very rapidly, creating a distinct, rhythmic pulse. For example, to create a 10 Hz Alpha wave tone, the sound would be pulsed 10 times per second. This clear, sharp beat makes it very easy for the brain to "lock onto" and synchronize with the intended frequency, a process known as brainwave entrainment.
Unlike binaural beats, which create an auditory illusion inside your brain by playing two different frequencies in each ear, isochronic tones are a direct, physical pulse of sound. This is why they are effective even when listening through speakers and do not require headphones.
