About the Pose
A deep forward fold and shoulder-opening variation of Warrior I. Humble Warrior is a pose of surrender and release, stretching the hips and shoulders while cultivating a sense of humility.
How to Practice
- Start in Warrior I. Interlace your fingers behind your back.
- Inhale to lift your chest.
- Exhale and fold your torso forward, bringing your front shoulder to the inside of your front knee.
- Let your head hang heavy and reach your clasped hands up and overhead.
