Forrest Yoga is a powerful, modern style of yoga developed by and named for Ana T. Forrest. It is a physically intense, internally focused practice designed to help students cleanse and heal deep emotional and physical wounds.
The Four Pillars

What to Expect in a Class
- Heated Room: Classes are typically practiced in a room heated to around 85°F (29°C).
- Core Work: Every class includes a significant portion of abdominal work.
- Long Holds: Poses are held for long periods, often for 10 or more deep breaths.
- Unique Poses: The style includes many unique poses and modifications designed to address modern-day physical ailments.

- Extensive abdominal work (e.g., Bridge Pose lifts, Boat Pose variations).
- Wrist stretches and neck releases.
- Standing poses with long holds, like Warrior II.
